In the 15th minute Jacobo Gonzalez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Christian Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tu Vieja FC's Samuel Aballe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Gonzalez in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tu Vieja FC's zone, Rafael Alonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Aballe came out of the goal and Rafael Alonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th match minute, Tu Vieja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Eleder to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute of the match Efrain Bernard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Aballe skillfully saved the ball. Christian Llanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rafael Alonso came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Arsenal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Alonso couldn't finish the play. After 38 minutes of play, Arsenal's Rafael Alonso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Aballe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacobo Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Samuel Aballe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Basilio Harkaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Tu Vieja FC's Ladislao Mingo got a free kick in the 49th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ildefonso Nataniel made the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Gonzalez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 56 in the game by Rafael Alonso from a close distance when the talented Samuel Aballe managed to make a qualified save. Tu Vieja FC's players were relieved. 58 minutes into the match, Tu Vieja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Gonzalez came free, but Samuel Aballe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Dimo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Carmelo Luzaide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Nataniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Aballe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Christian Llanos struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Carmelo Luzaide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tu Vieja FC. Rafael Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacobo Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Christian Llanos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Carmelo Luzaide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Arsenal defense, Christian Llanos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmelo Luzaide. The Arsenal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmelo Luzaide should have stopped the shot. If Jacobo Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ildefonso Nataniel struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Carmelo Luzaide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tu Vieja FC.
