Tronco Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavino Giraldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Cipriano Pitin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Pitin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Tronco Juniors's Mariano Sazon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Donato Raitin. That made the score 1-2 after 55 minutes of play. Rigoberto Arlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Pablo Chano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Sazon might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Raitin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Sazon ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Anda a la cancha bobo's zone, Mariano Sazon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Raitin came out of the goal and Mariano Sazon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Benedicto Cordarin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Benedicto Cordarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Donato Raitin made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Cordarin got free with Donato Raitin in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rigoberto Arlo came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Anda a la cancha bobo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Arlo couldn't finish the play. Mariano Sazon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pablo Chano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Pitin in the 87th minute of play. Anda a la cancha bobo's Rigoberto Arlo got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Marcelo Ulizes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pablo Chano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
