When Ortigol's Cirilo Porfiro in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bernasconi's goalie prevented a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Ixidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, Cirilo Porfiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Ixidor. Bernasconi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cirilo Porfiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of Ortigol booed when Bernasconi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Cirilo Porfiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Rafael Etxepare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ortigol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Etxepare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 26 played minutes Bernasconi got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Pietro. Luis Ixidor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cirilo Porfiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 31 minute of play. If Cirilo Porfiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Porfiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bernasconi's zone, Benito Abella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Ixidor came out of the goal and Benito Abella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 38 played minutes Bernasconi got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Ramirez. Bernasconi's Luis Ixidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Porfiro in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Cirilo Porfiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Selmo was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Cirilo Porfiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bernasconi's Luis Ixidor didn't even have to move. Cristobal Ortzi kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Cirilo Porfiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis Ixidor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Porfiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Luis Ixidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Porfiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 minutes, Gonzalo Kismi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bernasconi and the Ortigol players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luis Ixidor went to the wrong direction when Cirilo Porfiro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 68thth minute of the game Cirilo Porfiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bernasconi's Luis Ixidor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cirilo Porfiro took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Ixidor. Luis Ixidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Porfiro in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Ixidor saved Bernasconi from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Selmo in the 77th minute of play forced Ortigol's goalkeeper Feliciano Soin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Cirilo Porfiro put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luis Ixidor. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Porfiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Ixidor was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. 90 minutes into the match, Bernasconi's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Erlantz came free, but Luis Ixidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ortigol's Feliciano Soin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Selmo in the 93rd minute of play. Cirilo Porfiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luis Ixidor having to make a save. Cirilo Porfiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Ixidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Abella, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When Ortigol's Cirilo Porfiro in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bernasconi's goalie prevented a goal.
