After some careless play in the Ortigol defense, Generoso Lucila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hipolito Quintan. The Ortigol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hipolito Quintan should have stopped the shot. After some careless play in the Club de Amigos defense, Cirilo Porfiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Rencio. In the 42nd minute, Cesar Bazil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hipolito Quintan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Lucila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Abella might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Rencio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Abella ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cirilo Porfiro was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Club de Amigos's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Porfiro came free, but Evaristo Rencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hipolito Quintan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Lucila's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Evaristo Rencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Porfiro in the 81st minute of play forced Club de Amigos's goalkeeper Evaristo Rencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hipolito Quintan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Lucila's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Porfiro in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Rencio saved Club de Amigos from getting behind. In the 91st minute Cirilo Porfiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Rencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Platon's late challenge caught a Club de Amigos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
