Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) Deportivo Roca's Mariano Onofre started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Onofre in the 3rd minute of play forced La Cicloneta FC's goalkeeper Israel Gumaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute Freddy Lon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Gumaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes, Venancio Hernando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Roca and the La Cicloneta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Deportivo Roca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Hernando to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Onofre struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Israel Gumaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Roca. Israel Gumaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Lon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Bilintx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lucio Ovando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, La Cicloneta FC's Antonio Manilan got a free kick in the 19th minute. Bonifacio Pabla, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 26th minute, Freddy Lon made a precise shot to the right of Israel Gumaro. La Cicloneta FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 32 minutes in the game, Freddy Lon dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Israel Gumaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Onofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Roca's Elvio Chus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Roca from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Danilo Bilintx got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 42 played minutes Deportivo Roca got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Hernando. 46 minutes into the match, La Cicloneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Lon came free, but Israel Gumaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Freddy Lon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Roca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

If Candido Tipi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, La Cicloneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Onofre came free, but Israel Gumaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Mariano Onofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Gumaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Lon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Gumaro having to interfere. A collision led to Deportivo Roca getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Venancio Hernando hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Restu during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Deportivo Roca booed when La Cicloneta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Restu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Deportivo Roca's Freddy Lon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Israel Gumaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Feliciano Perutxo's late challenge caught a La Cicloneta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliciano Perutxo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Roca's Feliciano Perutxo got a free kick in the 75th minute. 80 minutes into the match, La Cicloneta FC's goalkeeper Israel Gumaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddy Lon. Israel Gumaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Onofre in the 82nd minute of play. Mariano Onofre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Onofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Deportivo Roca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo Roca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
