The supporters of Bompland booed when Fans De Wanda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Luzaide didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bompland's Antonio Ostargi in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fans De Wanda FC's goalie prevented a goal. Antonio Ostargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jacobo Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Rodolfo Pero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Antonio Ostargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Otsoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Francho, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Guaberto Martxel fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fans De Wanda FC's protests and gave Guaberto Martxel a yellow card for diving instead. Bompland's Rodolfo Pero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fans De Wanda FC. Antonio Ostargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mario Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Rufo having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Lucio Liberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bompland's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fans De Wanda FC the free kick. Pastor Otsoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Francho in the 30th minute of play. Jacobo Rufo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Ostargi in the 39th minute. Pastor Otsoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Asier, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Bompland's Pastor Otsoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Francho in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pastor Asier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Antonio Ostargi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bompland's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Ostargi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Rufo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute Pastor Asier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Otsoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Antonio Ostargi came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Bompland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Ostargi couldn't finish the play. Antonio Ostargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jacobo Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Nereo Eder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fans De Wanda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bompland the free kick. After 71 played minutes Fans De Wanda FC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Eder. If Joaquin Francho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antonio Ostargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Fans De Wanda FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Natalio Arce hit a great ball. In the 86th minute of the match Bompland got a corner. Fans De Wanda FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rodolfo Pero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Joaquin Francho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Pastor Otsoa made a huge save. In the 93rd match minute, Bompland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Gudesteo to maneuver through the defense. After 97 minutes Bompland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Natalio Arce who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Fans De Wanda FC's Natalio Arce to fire away a dangerous shot which Pastor Otsoa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bompland were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
