If Haroldo Hori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Otsoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroldo Hori's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Celestino Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Pastor Otsoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Hori blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pastor Otsoa having to make a save. Haroldo Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Otsoa having to interfere. Tiburcio Fertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Liberto in the 26th minute of play. Pastor Otsoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Suarez in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Celestino Suarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Suarez in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pastor Otsoa saved Bompland from getting behind. Pastor Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Pastor Otsoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Delmiro Markel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 37 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Bompland's Delmiro Markel got a free kick in the 38th minute. A collision led to Bompland getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jonathan Cordario hit a great ball. Celestino Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Pastor Otsoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Hori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celestino Suarez to strike the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Lona FC's Haroldo Hori got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tiburcio Fertus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Ostargi in the 53rd minute of the match. Bompland's Pastor Otsoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Suarez in the 61st minute of play. Jonathan Cordario was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Despite being the better team, Deportivo Lona FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
