With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delmar Gonchan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, Eloy Cordeiro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vikings's Freddy Celio. Freddy Celio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute, Loco Motoneta's Bernabe Jurgi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Freddy Celio. Freddy Celio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Gaueko got free with Freddy Celio in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Freddy Celio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Abel, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Maximino Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Delmar Gonchan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Domingo Argi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Gonchan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Celio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernardo Gaueko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 81 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Abel in the 89th minute of play forced Vikings's goalkeeper Freddy Celio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
