After 5 played minutes, Natalia Natalia FC's Cristobal Fernendo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zeledon Goyo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Natalia Natalia FC reached it. In the 8th minute, Maximo Mero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Dodorol in the 13th minute of play forced Natalia Natalia FC's goalkeeper Nicanor Stanislao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Elpidio Elequemedo came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Colmena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Elequemedo couldn't finish the play. Natalia Natalia FC's Maximo Mero got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicanor Stanislao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Dodorol in the 26th minute of play. Zeledon Goyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Pello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Elpidio Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Stanislao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Dodorol in the 56th minute of the match. Maximo Mero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Goyo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Natalia Natalia FC's Erasmo Viator got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Bruno Gomez charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
