Ricardo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Ricardo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Estebano came free, but Miguel Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santo Ovando in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Urtats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the game, Gualterio Maore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ricardo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rio de la Plata the free kick. Gualterio Maore kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Santo Ovando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Roberto Jenaro from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Miguel Urtats's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Miguel Urtats was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Jonas Estebano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonas Estebano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. 72 minutes into the game, Antonio Gauargi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santo Ovando in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Urtats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonas Estebano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-7 to the left of a surprised Miguel Urtats 87 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ricardo FC's goalkeeper Miguel Urtats, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jonas Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Rio de la Plata left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ricardo FC.
