The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maximiliano Fonda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Rey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astor Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Maximiliano Fonda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 8 in the game by Atilano Jobo from a close distance when the talented Maximiliano Fonda managed to make a qualified save. Marionetas Magicas F.C's players were relieved. 12 minutes into the match, Marionetas Magicas F.C's goalkeeper Maximiliano Fonda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Atilano Jobo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atilano Jobo got free with Maximiliano Fonda in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jairo Rivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angel Abadia kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Maximiliano Fonda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Rey in the 21st minute of the match. Ambrosio Aznar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Octavio Francesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marionetas Magicas F.C's Maximiliano Fonda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Rey in the 31st minute of play. When Ambrosio Aznar came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Marionetas Magicas F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrosio Aznar couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Esperanza booed when Marionetas Magicas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Aznar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Esperanza's Astor Rey in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marionetas Magicas F.C's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Maureo during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Atilano Jobo got free in front of the goal in the 44th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Maximiliano Fonda was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Marionetas Magicas F.C getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Timoteo Neron hit a great ball. In the 49th minute of the match Esperanza got a corner. Marionetas Magicas F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luisito Rivas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Luisito Rivas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Marionetas Magicas F.C's Maximiliano Fonda did a great save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ambrosio Aznar made a kick off. If Atilano Jobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 54 played minutes Marionetas Magicas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Gai. After 58 minutes, Ramon Quinito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esperanza and the Marionetas Magicas F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60thth minute of the game Ambrosio Aznar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esperanza's Octavio Francesco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Esperanza's Atilano Jobo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximiliano Fonda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marionetas Magicas F.C's goalkeeper Maximiliano Fonda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximiliano Fonda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Rey in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Astor Rey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esperanza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Astor Rey sped through Marionetas Magicas F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maximiliano Fonda. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Astor Rey in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximiliano Fonda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Astor Rey might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximiliano Fonda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Astor Rey ran back to his position shaking his head. Astor Rey struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Maximiliano Fonda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esperanza. If Atilano Jobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Astor Rey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esperanza's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Rey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Fonda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 98 minutes into the match, Marionetas Magicas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Jobo came free, but Maximiliano Fonda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Esperanza had won after a very even match.
