Lino Veremundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 18 played minutes Moreira AFC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Sayvion. Moreira AFC's Lino Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Urtats in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Moreira AFC's Celedonio Manuelo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moreira AFC's goalkeeper Lino Veremundo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The River Plate players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
