The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Celso Kimetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Prejun, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 8th minute, Luis Iyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Iyan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aguante la cerveza's Nestor Dantae got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the game, Simon Petrigai recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ildefonso Telo. Simon Petrigai showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Aguante la cerveza's Celso Kimetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Rafel in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Simon Petrigai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Telo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Simon Petrigai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Varones F.C.'s Ildefonso Telo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benicio Rafel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Nestor Dantae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Petrigai made a kick off. Justino Prejun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Nestor Dantae's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ildefonso Telo was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. The Aguante la cerveza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Kimetz should have stopped the shot. After having played for 99 minutes, Luis Iyan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Varones F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Iyan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aguante la cerveza were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Varones F.C. for a fine match.
