In the 16th minute Marcial Igon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Lizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Lizar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcial Igon went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the match, Laprida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Igon came free, but Danilo Lizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Ostots charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benicio Ostots the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Bertin got free with Gregorio Pitin in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lino Bertin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcial Igon struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Danilo Lizar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. In the 38th minute, Augusto Oxarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcial Igon struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. With an all-out effort, Racing Club's Danilo Lizar threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcial Igon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Augusto Oxarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Pitin having to interfere. Marcial Igon struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Danilo Lizar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club.
