Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Eliazar started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Oihan in the 5th minute of play forced Canton United's goalkeeper Eloy Pasqual to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Canton United's zone, Joel Eliazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Pasqual came out of the goal and Joel Eliazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canton United's goalkeeper Eloy Pasqual, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eloy Pasqual showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Eliazar in the 15th minute of the match. If Vladimiro Oihan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Ezequiel Berto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimiro Oihan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vladimiro Oihan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eloy Pasqual came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Eagles F.C's Vladimiro Oihan. But to his dismay, Vladimiro Oihan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Robustiano Guerrero hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Gabino got free with Remigio Ralondo in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robustiano Guerrero during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Eagles F.C's Joel Eliazar in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canton United's goalie prevented a goal. Remigio Ralondo made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Gabino in the 45th minute. A hard shot 47 in the game by David Gabino from a close distance when the talented Remigio Ralondo managed to make a qualified save. Eagles F.C's players were relieved. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Higinio Louis to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Joel Eliazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Pasqual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If David Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes Canton United got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Ignado. The audience was convinced that Joel Eliazar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Pasqual was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After 67th play minutes Joel Eliazar shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Eloy Pasqual and just under the crossbar into goal. Eloy Pasqual made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Vladimiro Oihan sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Eagles F.C defense, Higinio Louis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remigio Ralondo. The Eagles F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remigio Ralondo should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Eagles F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Louis came free, but Remigio Ralondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Constantino Rudolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Orlan kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 93 played minutes, Eagles F.C's Jaime Nisio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eloy Pasqual came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Eagles F.C reached it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Eagles F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
