Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Montay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauricio Cordero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Gaudencio Lluterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Cordero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind PERROQUE FC's goalkeeper Mauricio Cordero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 minutes of play, PERROQUE FC's Celso Oier made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Mazuste was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute, Moises Diagur made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Mazuste. Casilda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half PERROQUE FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Oier made a kick off. If Gaudencio Lluterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Montay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Mauricio Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Mazuste came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by PERROQUE FC's Moises Diagur. But to his dismay, Moises Diagur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 75th minute, Rodrigo Montay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Casilda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Moises Diagur was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. PERROQUE FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rodrigo Montay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Mauricio Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Oier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Mazuste read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. If Celso Oier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. PERROQUE FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
