Yo soy del Gallinero's Aristides Pirro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Nuxila in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Felipe Vito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Yo soy del Gallinero booed when ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Mikeldi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Domingo Beila came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Yo soy del Gallinero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Beila couldn't finish the play. Ubaldo Quintyn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingo Beila's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Domingo Beila took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ubaldo Quintyn to make any attempt to save it. Felipe Vito's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Ubaldo Quintyn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jonas Liberto's late challenge caught a ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Liberto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Yo soy del Gallinero's Jonas Liberto got a free kick in the 30th minute. Rene Beremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Pirro having to interfere. If Israel Nuxila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Ubaldo Quintyn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Vito. Rene Beremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Pirro having to interfere. If Domingo Beila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domingo Beila in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Quintyn saved ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Domingo Beila made the kick off in the second half. Fausto Todor hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Aristides Pirro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Israel Nuxila in the 56th minute. Jonas Liberto got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jonas Liberto hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Felipe Vito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Yo soy del Gallinero's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Vito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
