PBTs's Alfredo Urbasa was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 16th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Charlotte Hornets's Nemesio Constancio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Eladio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes in the game, Alfredo Urbasa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Guaberto Ler having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Nemesio Constancio notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of PBTs's Alejandro Eladio. Alejandro Eladio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aaron Vasco to make the kick off. Ceferino Confesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Eladio having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, PBTs's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Confesor came free, but Alejandro Eladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Celedonio Santikurtz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match PBTs got a corner. Charlotte Hornets's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicanor Precioso ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Nicanor Precioso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guaberto Ler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aaron Vasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Ler having to interfere. PBTs's Alejandro Eladio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Confesor in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Nemesio Constancio made a precise shot to the right of Alejandro Eladio. PBTs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. If Nemesio Constancio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Charlotte Hornets booed when PBTs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Urbasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. PBTs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Ceferino Confesor scored to the left of an out of position Alejandro Eladio, making the score, 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Charlotte Hornets had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
