After 7 played minutes, instituto LCA's Edelmiro Oliviero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper German Atarrabi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in instituto LCA reached it. In the 11th minute Genaro Beremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Martxelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Betadur struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. German Atarrabi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for instituto LCA. After 17 played minutes Traful got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Frascuelo. Edelmiro Oliviero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for German Atarrabi. Traful's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dalmacio Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Atarrabi having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, instituto LCA's goalkeeper Tomás Martxelin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Cordarell. In the 27th minute Genaro Beremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Martxelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Cordarell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Tomás Martxelin made a huge save. After a rather tough play, instituto LCA's Valentin Dorio got a free kick in the 31st minute. Traful's German Atarrabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Betadur in the 39th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Florencio Emeterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmacio Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edelmiro Oliviero fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored instituto LCA's protests and gave Edelmiro Oliviero a yellow card for diving instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Genaro Beremundo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 68th match minute, instituto LCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Cruz to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Genaro Beremundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Traful booed when instituto LCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Oliviero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, instituto LCA's Virgilio Cruz got a free kick in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Cordarell in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Martxelin saved instituto LCA from getting behind. When Dalmacio Barros came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the instituto LCA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Barros couldn't finish the play. In the 89th match minute, Traful was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Emeterio to maneuver through the defense. Dalmacio Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but German Atarrabi made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Genaro Beremundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Traful fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.
