In the 12th minute, Retrogrados F.C's Marcelo Arnas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Freddy Danel. Freddy Danel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Freddy Danel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Arnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Prospero Belmiro hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Cristo Vimaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hocker 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Retrogrados F.C the free kick. After 26 played minutes Hocker got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Vimaro. Freddy Danel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Belmiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddy Danel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Arnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 39th match minute, Hocker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Baleren to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Fiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Prospero Belmiro charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prospero Belmiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Mauro Bertol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severino Sadurni was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Arnas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vicente Fiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Danel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Freddy Danel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Arnas in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Retrogrados F.C's Vicente Fiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Danel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Hocker got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Baleren. Vicente Fiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Danel having to interfere. Hocker 's Freddy Danel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Belmiro in the 76th minute of play. Freddy Danel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Arnas's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Freddy Danel came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Retrogrados F.C's Marcelo Arnas. But to his dismay, Marcelo Arnas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 92nd minute, Cristo Vimaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
