The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Pucará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Cordara came free, but Dario Gelmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Gelmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Tiniebra in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Filiberto Cordara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Sachetti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lisandro Maldonado kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Wilfredo Isidor kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Arnoldo Primeiro hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Sachetti's Arnoldo Primeiro got a free kick in the 17th minute. Teodoro Gaspard shot from long distance in the 18th minute, but Marcos Belo was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Filiberto Cordara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Sachetti's zone, Norberto Vasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Belo came out of the goal and Norberto Vasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sportivo Sachetti's Marcos Belo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Sachetti from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, Pucará FC's Luis Blasi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Belo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcos Belo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Blasi's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Luis Blasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Primeiro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Sportivo Sachetti were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luis Blasi to make the kick off. Dario Gelmiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Tiniebra in the 53rd minute. Jeronimo Maore kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Pucará FC's Dario Gelmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Cordara in the 54th minute of play. Gabriel Tiniebra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Gelmiro having to interfere. Gabriel Tiniebra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Gelmiro having to interfere. Filiberto Cordara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Dario Gelmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Tiniebra had several of the Pucará FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Dario Gelmiro as he didn't even see the shot coming. Luis Blasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Belo having to interfere. Dario Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Cordara in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Gabriel Tiniebra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Sachetti's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Tiniebra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Gelmiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
