Vicente Fiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Villa Alem de Tucuman defense, Marcelo Arnas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Primitivo Celino. The Villa Alem de Tucuman fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Primitivo Celino should have stopped the shot. Severino Sadurni was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Romeo Perfecto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 72 minute of play. Romeo Perfecto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Severino Sadurni made a huge save. Severino Sadurni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Locaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The Villa Alem de Tucuman supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villa Alem de Tucuman would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
