The supporters of Luque FC booed when Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Lico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Curcio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Caitano having to interfere. Luque FC's Ildefonso Lalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Estebano in the 64th minute of play. Arnulfo Estebano took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ildefonso Lalla. Ildefonso Lalla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gonzalo Bilbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute, Arnulfo Estebano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Luque FC's Jorge Lico got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Arnulfo Estebano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ildefonso Lalla was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With a little luck, Talleres's Lino Caitano got control of the ball when Eusebio Basualdo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 77 minutes, Saul Inautzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talleres and the Luque FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Talleres:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Luque FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Lino Caitano, was totally fooled by Luque FC's Silvio Fonda, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 82 minutes into the game, Talleres's Gonzalo Bilbo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ildefonso Lalla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Luque FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Talleres.
