Spectators: 7119 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gonzalo Bilbo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Guido Betadur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Unai came free, but Lino Caitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Talleres's Gonzalo Bilbo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eduardo Stephen. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Arnulfo Estebano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15thth minute of the game Domingo Unai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talleres's Lino Caitano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guido Betadur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingo Unai struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Lino Caitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACF Palermo. Guido Betadur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Domingo Unai's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lino Caitano was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Unai came free, but Lino Caitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Talleres's Arnulfo Estebano got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lino Caitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Betadur in the 44th minute of play. Lino Caitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Unai in the 45th minute of the match. If Domingo Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingo Unai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guido Betadur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Lino Caitano made a huge save. In the 58th minute Arnulfo Estebano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Arnulfo Estebano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talleres's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Estebano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Stephen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute Gonzalo Bilbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Estebano notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ACF Palermo's Eduardo Stephen. Eduardo Stephen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gonzalo Bilbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Ceandro's late challenge caught a Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomero Ceandro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Baldomero Ceandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Bilbo in the 74th minute of the match. When Gonzalo Bilbo came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Bilbo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Bilbo in the 93rd minute of play forced ACF Palermo's goalkeeper Eduardo Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes, Herminio Lico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talleres and the ACF Palermo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Lico. After a rather tough play, ACF Palermo's Melchor Tabor got a free kick in the 96th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Talleres had won after a very even match.
