Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emilio Mazuste made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 3 minutes, Luis Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los caseros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Ihazintu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th match minute, Florida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Palos to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute of the match Ruben Musko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antonio Felipo skillfully saved the ball. Antonio Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Ihazintu in the 17th minute of play. Gregorio Foro's late challenge caught a Los caseros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregorio Foro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Florida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Foro to maneuver through the defense. Elpidio Banegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Foro in the 27th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Los caseros's Alejandro Sanduru got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute of the match Gilberto Faron sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elpidio Banegas skillfully saved the ball. Elpidio Banegas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Fonso in the 39th minute. When Emilio Mazuste came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Los caseros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Mazuste couldn't finish the play. Prospero Fonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Elpidio Banegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

A collision led to Los caseros getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Cesar Faron hit a great ball. Antonio Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Mazuste in the 70th minute of play. Prospero Fonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Mazuste in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Felipo saved Florida FC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Florida FC defense, Luis Ihazintu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Felipo. The Florida FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Felipo should have stopped the shot. Victor Musko kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Luis Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Prospero Fonso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elpidio Banegas. Los caseros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prospero Fonso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 92nd minute of the match Gilberto Faron sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elpidio Banegas skillfully saved the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Sergio Joanes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Florida FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los caseros the free kick. After 94 played minutes Florida FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Joanes. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
