In the 5th minute Roman Chumo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Caitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Atlas FC booed when Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Gentza didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Chumo in the 7th minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Lino Caitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Harri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute of the match Juan Colon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lino Caitano skillfully saved the ball. 18 minutes in the game, Roman Chumo dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Harri in the 22nd minute of play forced Talleres's goalkeeper Lino Caitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Talleres getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Rene Tipi hit a great ball. If Jesus Harri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Stanislao was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Arnulfo Estebano struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Nico Lembeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talleres. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Roman Chumo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Chumo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Caitano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 41 minutes of play, Atlas FC's Jesus Harri made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lino Caitano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lino Caitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Harri in the 49th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzalo Bilbo to strike the kick off in the second half. Talleres were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Atlas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernardino Stanislao took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Bernardino Stanislao got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nico Lembeck quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 56 minutes into the game, Jesus Harri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lino Caitano. Jesus Harri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Thanks to some nice moves Roman Chumo could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Lino Caitano however easily saved by the left post. Gonzalo Bilbo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lino Caitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Harri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jesus Harri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Estebano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Nico Lembeck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Atlas FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
