The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romulo Loco helped the player get up and apologised. Victorio Rocendo, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Mudana's Candido Maurin got control of the ball when Luis Ihazintu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mudana's zone, Luis Ihazintu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Candido Maurin came out of the goal and Luis Ihazintu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Ihazintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Candido Maurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Ihazintu struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Candido Maurin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los caseros. Luis Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eduardo Min to strike the kick off in the second half. Candido Maurin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Ihazintu went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the game, Eduardo Min lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Elpidio Banegas. Elpidio Banegas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Min's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Emilio Mazuste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Maurin having to interfere. Los caseros's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
