Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Domingo Unai made the kick off which started today's match. ACF Palermo's Eduardo Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Santo in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of La Cicloneta booed when ACF Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Llanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5thth minute of the game Arnoldo Santo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ACF Palermo's Eduardo Stephen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaudencio Guillerme's late challenge caught a ACF Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaudencio Guillerme helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, La Cicloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Guillerme to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Guido Betadur could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Rene Herensuge however easily saved by the left post. Domingo Unai hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. A collision led to La Cicloneta getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Nereo Soin hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Arnoldo Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Ceandro got free with Rene Herensuge in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to La Cicloneta getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Aristides Honesto hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, ACF Palermo's Melchor Tabor broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 31 minutes into the match, La Cicloneta's goalkeeper Rene Herensuge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomero Ceandro. Guido Betadur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, La Cicloneta's Ciriaco Millan got a free kick in the 34th minute. Raimundo Izotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Stephen having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Izotz in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Stephen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celso Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Eduardo Stephen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Izotz in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With a little luck, ACF Palermo's Eduardo Stephen got control of the ball when Arnoldo Santo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Arnoldo Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Santo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Stephen. ACF Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnoldo Santo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Domingo Unai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Stephen made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Arnoldo Santo sent off a good shot on target. After 67 played minutes ACF Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Gaitan. If Epifanio Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Stephen was a little too slow when Arnoldo Santo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-2. Arnoldo Santo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, one of La Cicloneta:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Cicloneta. The supporters of ACF Palermo booed when La Cicloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Soin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Unai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Herensuge having to interfere. Epifanio Montrel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Eduardo Stephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melchor Tabor kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. La Cicloneta's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
