An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Fonso in the 6th minute of play forced Mudana's goalkeeper Candido Maurin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorio Foro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Candido Maurin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Florida FC booed when Mudana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Min didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herminio Ubelteso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Felipo having to interfere. If Prospero Fonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Prospero Fonso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Candido Maurin. Mudana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prospero Fonso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Florida FC's goalkeeper Antonio Felipo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute of the match Cesar Ado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antonio Felipo skillfully saved the ball. In the 30th minute, Gregorio Foro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eduardo Min had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Mudana getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Victorio Rocendo hit a great ball. Eduardo Min received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Antonio Felipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner ended in Alejandro Natanael almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Florida FC's Antonio Felipo did a great save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Florida FC's Modesto Ostots got a free kick in the 55th minute. Prospero Fonsos short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Candido Maurin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Florida FC's Gregorio Foro in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mudana's goalie prevented a goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Foro couldn't finish the play. Gregorio Foro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Candido Maurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gregorio Foro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Maurin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Foro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Foro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Candido Maurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florida FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
