Lucio Otsoko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Ur in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Santos Laurendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, La Academia de Tincho's Carmelo Natanael broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in La Academia de Tincho's zone, Joaquin Txaran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Benet came out of the goal and Joaquin Txaran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteban Ur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Otsoko having to interfere. Urbano Ordono's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucio Otsoko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Esteban Ur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Otsoko having to interfere. The supporters of La Academia de Tincho booed when Defens. De Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Aureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 71st minute Urbano Ordono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Otsoko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Epifanio Benet having to make a save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
