If Zeledon Ramond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Demario's late challenge caught a Francis FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Demario helped the player get up and apologised. Simon Karlo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Francis FC defense, Zeledon Ramond kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeo Walme. The Francis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeo Walme should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabricio Mazuste to make the kick off. Alfredo Veremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a long run with the ball, Modesto Cucao did a trick in the 60th minute in front of Francis FC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 3-1. Pueblito's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
