Eustaquio Bela charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eustaquio Bela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Eustaquio Bela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 minutes, Aurelio Leobardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shadow F.C and the Francis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aurelio Leobardo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Shadow F.C's Aurelio Leobardo got his second yellow card of the match in the 16th minute. The referee ordered Aurelio Leobardo off the ground. After 17 played minutes Shadow F.C got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Leobardo. Everardo Lano made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Luisito Abar sent off a good shot on target. Everardo Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Brun in the 24th minute of the match. Francis FC's Luisito Abar came free and shot a quick shot against goal 25 minutes in the game, fortunately Everardo Lano had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Freddy Inguma charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddy Inguma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Freddy Inguma hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shadow F.C's goalkeeper Everardo Lano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Demesio during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Shadow F.C's Paolo Demesio got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Rogelio Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Lano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisito Abar came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Everardo Lano could save by the left post. Eustaquio Bela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Brun was the one to do the kick off. Everardo Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Abar, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 53 played minutes Shadow F.C got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Demesio. Eustaquio Bela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes Shadow F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfredo Veremundo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Alfredo Veremundo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Everardo Lano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 81st minute Luisito Abar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Lano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luisito Abar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio Bela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Romeo Walme made a huge save. Felix Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Romeo Walme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everardo Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Brun, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Everardo Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Abar in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Francis FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Shadow F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
