Severino Maureo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sebastián Velazco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Vito hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. A collision led to Horquilla getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Silvio Fidele hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes, Pasa y Veni's Traian Jușcă shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cosme Henric came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pasa y Veni reached it. When Ramiro Petrigai came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Pasa y Veni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Petrigai couldn't finish the play. After 40 played minutes Horquilla got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Naldo. Pasa y Veni's Sebastián Velazco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Marin in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aristides Marin was the one to do the kick off. Cosme Henric made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Fernandez in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Horquilla's Eulalio Umbruso got a free kick in the 54th minute. Cosme Henric acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Traian Jușcă. When Eulalio Umbruso came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Horquilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Umbruso couldn't finish the play. Lorenzo Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Henric having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Aristides Marin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gavino Cisco charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavino Cisco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gavino Cisco struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Cosme Henric didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pasa y Veni. In the 82nd minute, Aristides Marin made a precise shot to the right of Sebastián Velazco. Pasa y Veni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of Horquilla booed when Pasa y Veni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Cisco didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 91 in the game by Lorenzo Fernandez from a close distance when the talented Cosme Henric managed to make a qualified save. Horquilla's players were relieved. Ramiro Petrigai struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Cosme Henric didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pasa y Veni. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pasa y Veni eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
