Urbano Sidoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Vimaro in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Club Atlético All Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Vimaro came free, but Urbano Sidoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes, Laureano Abechuco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fail Team and the Club Atlético All Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Urbano Sidoro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nicasio Quinton. Guillermo Romano came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Urbano Sidoro could save by the left post. 35 minutes into the match, Club Atlético All Boys's goalkeeper Urbano Sidoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Abechuco. Club Atlético All Boys's Urbano Sidoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Vimaro in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half Club Atlético All Boys were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Gustavo Laurendi fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fail Team's protests and gave Gustavo Laurendi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fail Team getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Tiburcio Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético All Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiburcio Ramirez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Benitez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Atlético All Boys eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
