Zeledon Gorosti came out of the goal and Salvador Weterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 3 played minutes Come Gato got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Vargas. Ernesto Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulus Coeckelberghs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Simon Claris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Salvador Weterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Gorosti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Emilio Pereyra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulus Coeckelberghs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Claris having to interfere. Paulus Coeckelberghs struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Simon Claris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Come Gato. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulus Coeckelberghs in the 23rd minute of play forced Carabelas's goalkeeper Simon Claris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulus Coeckelberghs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Claris having to interfere. Carabelas's Simon Claris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Carabelas from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Carabelas's Simon Claris got control of the ball when Mario Aires tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudio Mosen fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 36th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the 37th minute, Paulus Coeckelberghs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Paulus Coeckelberghs could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Simon Claris however easily saved by the left post. Paulus Coeckelberghs in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Simon Claris, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Mario Aires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Claris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulus Coeckelberghs in the 45th minute. Paulus Coeckelberghs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Salvador Weterio to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Come Gato! The goalkeeper, Zeledon Gorosti, was totally fooled by Carabelas's Dionisio Gonsalvo, who 54 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Simon Claris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulus Coeckelberghs in the 58th minute of the match. Paulus Coeckelberghs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Claris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulus Coeckelberghs in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulus Coeckelberghs in the 85th minute of play forced Carabelas's goalkeeper Simon Claris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Carabelas's goal looked a bit too open when Paulus Coeckelberghs came free, but Simon Claris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Come Gato's Paulus Coeckelberghs got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Aires struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Simon Claris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Come Gato. Come Gato's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Salvador Weterio scored to the left of an out of position Zeledon Gorosti, making the score, 0-2. Carabelas's Mariano Aragones was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 99th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
