Spectators: 7190 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) Oscar Cresenciano made the kick off and thus started the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Cresenciano in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Baudelio saved Deportivo Azul from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Criston in the 23rd minute of play forced Deportivo Azul's goalkeeper Severino Baudelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes CSyD Charrillos got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Santio. With a little luck, CSyD Charrillos's Paolo Ramone got control of the ball when Reynaldo Truylos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastian Otsoko kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Dionisio Vigil hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in CSyD Charrillos's zone, Reynaldo Truylos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Ramone came out of the goal and Reynaldo Truylos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omar Feliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Ramone having to interfere. Severino Baudelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Bizen in the 37th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Deportivo Azul's Reynaldo Truylos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Ramone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Deportivo Azul getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Saverio Min hit a great ball. In the 48th minute Niceto Ihintza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Baudelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Omar Feliz made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Deportivo Azul's Reynaldo Truylos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paolo Ramone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Paolo Ramone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Feliz in the 65th minute of the match. After 67 minutes of play Deportivo Azul's Sebastian Otsoko was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Severino Baudelio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristides Criston in the 70th minute. Oscar Cresenciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Baudelio having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Luciano Ignatius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Azul's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niceto Ihintza was slow to take the kick. During this time CSyD Charrillos's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Niceto Ihintza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Severino Baudelio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 91 minutes, Jairo Urbasa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Azul and the CSyD Charrillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The CSyD Charrillos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CSyD Charrillos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
