Aristides Bernat kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Severino Baudelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Tabby in the 7th minute of the match. When Aristides Lucero came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Molinitos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Lucero couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Molinitos FC booed when Deportivo Azul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Otsoko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Deportivo Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Lucero came free, but Severino Baudelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Aristides Lucero hit a great ball. Aristides Lucero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Molinitos FC's Angelo Perpinya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Feliz in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Tabby in the 24th minute of play forced Deportivo Azul's goalkeeper Severino Baudelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Baudelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Tabby, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 31st match minute, Deportivo Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omar Feliz during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Haroldo Dolcet struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Severino Baudelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Molinitos FC. Molinitos FC's Alejo Lluciano got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Azul's goalkeeper Severino Baudelio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 44 minutes, Aristides Lucero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Molinitos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Lucero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aristides Lucero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Severino Baudelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severino Baudelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Tabby in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Feliz made a kick off. If Jeremias Tabby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Truylos in the 59th minute of play forced Molinitos FC's goalkeeper Angelo Perpinya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Freddy Belasko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Molinitos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Belasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute of the match Aristides Bernat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Perpinya showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Molinitos FC's Aristides Lucero got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Deportivo Azul's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emilio Gorbea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jeremias Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Baudelio came out of the goal and Aristides Lucero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Otsoko charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Otsoko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastian Otsoko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Emilio Gorbea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Severino Baudelio, 0-1. When Alejo Lluciano fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Molinitos FC's protests and gave Alejo Lluciano a yellow card for diving instead. Alejo Lluciano kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
