Sherpa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Piarres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pueblito AFC's Mariano Resto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Piarres in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Baudelio in the 98th minute of play forced Pueblito AFC's goalkeeper Mariano Resto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 100th minute Sherpa FC were awarded a corner. Jesus Vasco went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sherpa FC's Jesus Vasco to fire away a dangerous shot which Mariano Resto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pueblito AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
