The referee ignored TigreEsDe1ra's protests and gave Aureliano Galeno a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in TigreEsDe1ra's zone, Ermegildo Santo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Maties came out of the goal and Ermegildo Santo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicanor Jenaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danilo Oliviero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

If Fernan Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amado Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Jenaro in the 56th minute of the match. Carlos Maties made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Fonda in the 59th minute of play. If Ermegildo Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. Fernan Fonda scored 3-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Maties, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Santo in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Maties saved TigreEsDe1ra from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in TigreEsDe1ra's zone, Ermegildo Santo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
