Spectators: 7090 (Terracing: 5490, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pascual Etxatxu took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Sebastian Oskitz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lion FC's Diego Belmiro. Diego Belmiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascual Etxatxu in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Boniel saved Soubext CF from getting behind. In the 12th minute Sebastian Oskitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Belmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Belmiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Hunfredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guillermo Betadur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Boniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Pascual Etxatxu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jorge Boniel came out and tried to block the shot, but Pascual Etxatxu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. Jorge Boniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Etxatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Anier Jerico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Pascual Etxatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Etxatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jorge Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Soubext CF's zone, Pascual Etxatxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Boniel came out of the goal and Pascual Etxatxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pascual Etxatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jorge Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Luisito Belmiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benicio Orlandus hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lion FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Astor Bartuelo hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Oskitz was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute Pascual Etxatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Pascual Etxatxu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Pascual Etxatxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lion FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Etxatxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Boniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paolo Domenec kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Elias Rik took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diego Belmiro. Lion FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 67th play minute Damian Balasi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Diego Belmiro. 2-2. Pascual Etxatxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Boniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Pascual Etxatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Boniel having to interfere. Jorge Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Maurino in the 76th minute of play. Pascual Etxatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jorge Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascual Etxatxu in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Boniel saved Soubext CF from getting behind. Jorge Boniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Betadur, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When Elias Rik fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soubext CF's protests and gave Elias Rik a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Soubext CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Rik to maneuver through the defense.
