Spectators: 7070 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Lion FC's Pascual Etxatxu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pascual Etxatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Perpinya having to interfere. In the 6th minute Pascual Etxatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Perpinya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pascual Etxatxu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonio Perpinya was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Lion FC's Diego Belmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Raulo in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Pascual Etxatxu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antonio Perpinya. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 24th minute, Pascual Etxatxu made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Perpinya. Sorete FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A collision led to Sorete FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Sixto Belarmo hit a great ball. If German Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. Lion FC's Diego Belmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Fanuco in the 36th minute of play. When Cristian Rayman fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sorete FC's protests and gave Cristian Rayman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sorete FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Cristian Rayman hit a great ball. Sorete FC's Antonio Perpinya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Etxatxu in the 39th minute of play. Antonio Perpinya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anier Jerico in the 44th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eulalio Fanuco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Pascual Etxatxu made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Perpinya. Sorete FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Pascual Etxatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Perpinya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Etxatxu in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Bonifacio Maurino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filomeno Raulo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Antonio Perpinya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Domenec in the 70th minute of play. After 73 minutes, Anier Jerico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lion FC and the Sorete FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Filomeno Raulo took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Belmiro. Diego Belmiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 80th minute, Cristian Rayman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Astor Bartuelo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Pascual Etxatxu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Perpinya was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After 90 minutes of play Lion FC's Anier Jerico was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Sorete FC's zone, Bonifacio Maurino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Perpinya came out of the goal and Bonifacio Maurino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pascual Etxatxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
