Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Timoteo Rodriguez got the match started through his kick off. When Cornelio Tercero fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Union de sunchales's protests and gave Cornelio Tercero a yellow card for diving instead. Cornelio Tercero hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 4 played minutes Empedrado got a freekick which was hit by Mario Belarmo. After 6 minutes, Timoteo Rodriguez made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Empedrado's Teodoro Otsoko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 8 minutes, Fernando Bertin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Empedrado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Bertin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodoro Otsoko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Rodriguez in the 15th minute of the match. Union de sunchales's Eugenio Theobald got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Union de sunchales's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Fernando Bertin scored to the left of an out of position Daniel Clemencin, making the score, 1-1. When Eugenio Theobald came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Union de sunchales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Theobald couldn't finish the play. Union de sunchales's Daniel Clemencin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Union de sunchales from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the match, Empedrado's Patricio Porfiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Clemencin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute Eugenio Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Otsoko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match Union de sunchales got a corner. Empedrado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benigno Abaurre ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fabricio Lando was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 41 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Empedrado:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Union de sunchales:s goal. Teodoro Otsoko had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Benigno Abaurre's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 1-2 came in the 44th minute when Benigno Abaurre all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Teodoro Otsoko.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Porfiro to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Epifanio Montrell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Empedrado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Union de sunchales the free kick. After a rather tough play, Empedrado's Epifanio Montrell got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Empedrado's Mario Belarmo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 60 minutes, Venancio Jax mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Union de sunchales and the Empedrado players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Union de sunchales got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Jax. 65 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Bibiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Empedrado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Union de sunchales the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Empedrado fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! If Timoteo Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Patricio Porfiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniel Clemencin was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, Union de sunchales's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Porfiro came free, but Daniel Clemencin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Timoteo Rodriguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Union de sunchales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Empedrado the free kick. In the 76th minute, Timoteo Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timoteo Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Teodoro Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Sebastian Matei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute Empedrado were awarded a corner. Rodrigo Bibiano went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Empedrado's corner Rodrigo Bibiano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Daniel Clemencin quite easily take care of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Eugenio Theobald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Otsoko was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Union de sunchales's zone, Patricio Porfiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Clemencin came out of the goal and Patricio Porfiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 98 minutes into the match, Union de sunchales's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Porfiro came free, but Daniel Clemencin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Empedrado's Teodoro Otsoko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Rodriguez in the 99th minute of play. The Empedrado fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Union de sunchales were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
