The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Perchel's Arnulfo Nataniel got control of the ball when Saul Pello tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saul Pello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Arnulfo Nataniel made a huge save. In the 10th minute, Saul Pello made a precise shot to the right of Arnulfo Nataniel. Perchel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Gogo Bizen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnulfo Nataniel. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Pello got free with Arnulfo Nataniel in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Saul Pello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 25 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Saul Pello made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnulfo Nataniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Saul Pello fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors's protests and gave Saul Pello a yellow card for diving instead. Saul Pello kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Saul Pello who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Arnulfo Nataniel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arnulfo Nataniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Bizen in the 32nd minute of the match. Arnulfo Nataniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Pello in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute Gogo Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Nataniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnulfo Nataniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Bizen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Saul Pello got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Perchel's Jacinto Beturian got a free kick in the 39th minute. Saul Pello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Arnulfo Nataniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Braulio Leguizamón to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Gogo Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Nataniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Min recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Perchel defense, Saul Pello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnulfo Nataniel. The Perchel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnulfo Nataniel should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Perchel's zone, Gogo Bizen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Nataniel came out of the goal and Gogo Bizen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Saul Pello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes in the game, Saul Pello dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Arnulfo Nataniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Pello in the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Saul Pello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Arnulfo Nataniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Perchel defense, Saul Pello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnulfo Nataniel. The Perchel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnulfo Nataniel should have stopped the shot. Gogo Bizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Arnulfo Nataniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Beturian during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Perchel getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jacinto Beturian hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Saul Pello sped through Perchel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnulfo Nataniel. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Boca Juniors fans cheered their team off the field, for while Perchel had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
