In the 11th minute, Delmar Baumer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauro Manny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Gaizkine having to interfere. Bernardo Romelio struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Abelardo Frisco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacarita Undertakers. In the 24th minute Eduardo Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Frisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Romelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Frisco having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Bernardo Romelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mauro Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldo Lorenz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Salvador Columbo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abelardo Frisco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Bernardo Romelio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goyeneche's Abelardo Frisco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eduardo Egoi kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Chacarita Undertakers's Bernardo Romelio got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Goyeneche's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Egoi came free, but Abelardo Frisco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mauro Manny fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goyeneche's protests and gave Mauro Manny a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chacarita Undertakers booed when Goyeneche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Manny didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bernardo Romelio came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Chacarita Undertakers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Romelio couldn't finish the play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo Egoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Romelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Abelardo Frisco made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Albino Silban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, Aldo Lorenz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goyeneche's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacarita Undertakers the free kick. The supporters of Chacarita Undertakers booed when Goyeneche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Lorenz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Frisco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Salvador Columbo. Bernardo Romelio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Abelardo Frisco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 67th minute, Bernardo Romelio made a precise shot to the right of Abelardo Frisco. Goyeneche's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bernardo Romelio might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Frisco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ceferino Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chacarita Undertakers's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Frisco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chacarita Undertakers's Bernardo Romelio got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Cleto Guipuzkoa notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Goyeneche's Abelardo Frisco. Abelardo Frisco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 86 minutes, Bernardo Romelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacarita Undertakers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Romelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Romelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Frisco having to interfere. Chacarita Undertakers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
