An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Lucero in the 7th minute of play forced Impacto FC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Argenis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eloy Shepherd fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club S y D Villa Podesta's protests and gave Eloy Shepherd a yellow card for diving instead. Eloy Shepherd hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Osvaldo Argenis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Lucero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 played minutes Club S y D Villa Podesta got a freekick which was hit by Jose Cordarrel. Honorato Checa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 18 minutes, Gonzalo Martxot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Impacto FC and the Club S y D Villa Podesta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gonzalo Martxot kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Rolando Lucero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvaldo Argenis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 25th minute, Ceferino Dacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Cordarrel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Osvaldo Argenis. Impacto FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Maximiliano Rocendo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorato Checa in the 28th minute. Honorato Checa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Maximiliano Rocendo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 31 minutes, Silvano Urti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club S y D Villa Podesta and the Impacto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joaquin Sarracino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Maximiliano Rocendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximiliano Rocendo made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Honorato Checa sent off a good shot on target. Ceferino Dacio hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorato Checa to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Joaquin Sarracino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Maximiliano Rocendo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Impacto FC's Osvaldo Argenis got control of the ball when Rafael Eusko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Osvaldo Argenis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benigno Senio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 63 minute of play. After 71 played minutes Impacto FC got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Dacio. Gonzalo Martxot hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Alonzo Perico kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club S y D Villa Podesta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
