In the 36thth minute of the game Higinio Salomon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo F.C.'s Romeo Izel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 0-3 became the score in the 38th minute when Higinio Salomon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Romeo Izel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Lorenzo F.C.'s Miguel Fix got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Fix to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Salomon in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Izel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Maxin hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Higinio Salomon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Romeo Izel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Salomon in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, San Lorenzo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Maxin to maneuver through the defense. Higinio Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Izel having to interfere. Gonzalo Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Fix went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute, Higinio Salomon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romeo Izel. The goal made the score 1-5. Romeo Izel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Brion in the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to N. Chicago getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alberto Aires hit a great ball. The N. Chicago fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when N. Chicago's Higinio Salomon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 88th minute, N. Chicago's Higinio Salomon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romeo Izel. Romeo Izel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Miguel Fix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over N. Chicago could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than San Lorenzo F.C. throughout the match.
