The supporters of Román FC booed when Otto y Cata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Gabrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimeno Hunfredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Hitzeder having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Teofilo Dalmai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Otto y Cata's Augusto Sesuldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The goalkeeper, Augusto Sesuldo, was totally fooled by Román FC's Eusebio Bermund, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
