In the 14th minute Danilo Roldan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Hitzeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Viviano kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Teofilo Dalmai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ancóm's Guillermo Baristo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Fero in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Román FC's zone, Omar Venerando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Hitzeder came out of the goal and Omar Venerando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guillermo Hitzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Danilo Roldan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Hitzeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Omar Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guillermo Hitzeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Roldan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Guillermo Hitzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Ancóm got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Guerrero. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Marciano Fero made the kick off in the second half. Teofilo Dalmai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Guillermo Baristo made a huge save. Ancóm's Guillermo Baristo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Ancóm from getting a goal against them. Omar Venerando scored 1-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillermo Hitzeder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Omar Venerando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Omar Venerando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ancóm's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Venerando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillermo Hitzeder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omar Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Hitzeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute Danilo Roldan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Hitzeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ancóm were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Román FC for a fine match.
