In the 11th minute Manuel Liher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Quirze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Claude scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Everardo Sal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilfredo Claude in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Sal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeremias Cordairo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everardo Sal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Claude in the 27th minute of play. Alejandro Iruz kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Cristobal Guerau fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Fortin de las Cabas FC's protests and gave Cristobal Guerau a yellow card for diving instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilfredo Claude to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Everardo Sal managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Carril FC's Wilfredo Claude fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Fortin de las Cabas FC's goalkeeper Everardo Sal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 78 played minutes Carril FC got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Gizon. If Jeremias Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Sal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Claude in the 84th minute. Roman Darien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilfredo Claude sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carolo Gizon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Everardo Sal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 94 in the game by Wilfredo Claude from a close distance when the talented Everardo Sal managed to make a qualified save. El Fortin de las Cabas FC's players were relieved. If Carolo Gizon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carril FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
