Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adan Gomez took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Adan Gomez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Adan Gomez sped through Punua's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ubaldo Ignado. Ubaldo Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Orlanda in the 9th minute of play. When Adolfo Ignatius came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Punua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Ignatius couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Adan Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tosno's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Gomez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Ignado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Punua booed when Tosno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Sazon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Zeledon Ulizes came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Punua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeledon Ulizes couldn't finish the play. Sergio Orlanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adan Gomez in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Ignado saved Punua from getting behind. Adolfo Ignatius charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Ignatius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Punua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Ignatius to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adan Gomez in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Ignado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ubaldo Ignado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adan Gomez's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Silverio Sazon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Ignado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sergio Orlanda struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ubaldo Ignado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tosno. Adan Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Tosno were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeledon Ulizes was the one to do the kick off. If Cayetano Belarmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the match, Punua's goalkeeper Ubaldo Ignado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adan Gomez. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Ubaldo Ignado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 57 minutes into the game, Adan Gomez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ubaldo Ignado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ubaldo Ignado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Pereyra, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. When Tosno's Adan Gomez in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Punua's goalie prevented a goal. 0-5 became the score in the 75th minute when Adan Gomez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Punua's zone, Adan Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Ignado came out of the goal and Adan Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Gomez in the 83rd minute of play forced Punua's goalkeeper Ubaldo Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 minutes, Zeledon Ulizes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Punua and the Tosno players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Punua got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Ulizes. Tosno's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
